Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this camp, we will draw horses using a variety of techniques and using the elements of art to make our drawings exceptional. We will start each session with a fun warm-up and a cool drawing exercise! I will demonstrate a technique related to what they wish to achieve, guide them, and provide encouraging, constructive feedback as they draw. Session 1: Cartoon Horses Session 2: The Close-up Horse Session 3: The Standing Horse Session 4: Horse Scene Part 1 - Drawing Session 5: Horse Scene Part 2 - Shading

Explore the fundamentals of drawing with the elements of art, including lines, shapes, and the use of space, while focusing on creating cartoon-style horses. 45 mins online live lesson

Drawing a Close-up Horse
Dive into understanding the elements of art: form, value, and texture through drawing exercises and a detailed horse drawing. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Drawing an Entire Horse

Materials - Paper (Sketchbook or printer paper) - Pencils. #2 or HB pencil - Eraser - Pencil sharpener Optional Materials - Pencil set (for example, a 2H - 6B set) - Blending stump (Alternative: q-tip or tissue)
