Drawing: Basic Skills/Techniques For Drawing People and Portraits (Age 9-12) (Ongoing)
In this ongoing drawing class we will learn one new drawing and sketching technique each week as it relates to drawing the face or the human figure. We will create drawings showing emotion, expression, movement and a unique setting.

Description
Class Experience
Student will create one drawing of a portrait or human figure. Student will create one drawing including the following drawing technique: shading, sketching, line variety. Student will demonstrate knowledge of proportion, gesture or expression through drawing.
I am a certified K-12 art teacher and a professional artist and illustrator.
White paper or sketchbook Pencil or pencil set Eraser Pencil sharpener Optional (we may use these on occasion): Ink Pens or Black Pens Colored Pencils
This class is intended to be relaxed and open-ended, learners may share and ask questions during any time we are working.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
