In this weekly class, student will learn the basics of drawing in anime & manga style. Each week we will explore a different topic. Example topics include drawing the different parts of the face (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.), drawing various hairstyles, drawing clothing, drawing chibi characters, and more. Students can follow along as the teacher demonstrates step-by-step how to draw each week's topic. Students are encouraged to ask questions so they can receive help and feedback on their work....
Each week, students will need... A pencil An eraser (I recommend a kneaded eraser, but any eraser is ok) Plain paper or a sketchbook A ruler Depending on the topic, some weeks will have a printout provided that students should print before class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
