During this ongoing weekly drawing class, students choose the animal and anime style to draw. If you love anime or chibi style, or just think the critters look cute and want to meet other manga-lovers, this is the class for you!

The class structure will proceed as follows:
1. We will introduce ourselves.
2. Students will choose the animal we draw and the style--  chibi, kawaii, kemono, etc.
3. I will show the students step-by-step how to draw the animal using shapes on screen and by hand, checking in with student progress as we work.
4. During drawing time, students are encouraged to socialize and share about the animals, their pets, and anime shows they enjoy.
5. Everyone will be encouraged to add their own imaginative spin to the drawing-- ink or outline, and color in the drawing.
6. We will share our drawings with one another throughout the class and at the end.

My goal is to create a creative, social learning environment where students will feel comfortable sharing their ideas and art with other young artists. Artists learn through feedback. Students will be encouraged to share their progress and discuss their ideas at multiple stages in the drawing process.
