Description
Class Experience
You will meet a real llama (via zoom). You can ask questions about llamas and learn interesting llama facts. See what llamas look like; what their personalities are like; and what action poses they do. We will then follow with step-by-step instructions so everyone can draw a llama. We will learn how to draw different expressions, and different action poses. By the end of the session, everyone will be able to draw a llama playing a sport or doing any action imaginable. This course is suitable...
Learn how to draw different expressions. Learn how to draw llamas holding things. Design your own baby llama, and learn what makes any character look young or old. Practise different action poses. Add clothing, props, equipment, and special action effects.
I began my career working for Hanna-Barbera, and then Walt Disney, as a 2D animator. I have illustrated 80 children's books. I have worked in digital animation and 3D animation.
No homework. However it is hoped you will continue to draw many more action llamas.
At least 3 pieces of A4 paper and a marker to draw with. Or an ipad. Drawing in marker ensures I can see your work. Please ensure you have something under your drawing so the marker ink doesn't go through onto your desk.
We will draw 3 different llamas, in different poses, in this session.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
