Drawing and Watercolor Enrichment
In this ongoing class, students will learn about the elements of art: line, shape and color, by using drawing and painting skills. The projects vary by seasons and interests of the student population.

Beginner Level
Every week the subject matter in this class will change but have the same basic elements! Students will learn/review the elements of art (line and shape). Using these elements, we will draw together. After drawing, we will review another element of art (color). We will use watercolors to paint our drawings together. The last step is to add details like animated faces to the pieces! Week 1-We will make cute fall pumpkins. Week 2-We will make an adorable mushroom. Week 3-We will make some fun acorns with personality. Week 4-We will warm up by painting delicious hot chocolate.
Learning Goals
Students will draw a picture using line and shape.Students will paint their picture using color mixing and painting techniques.

Supply List
White paper (construction paper or thicker) Watercolor paper is best! Pencil with eraser Sharpies (fine point and ultra fine point) Watercolor Palette with a variety of colors Brushes (small to medium) Cup of Water
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
