Description
Class Experience
To practice drawing different animal forms focusing on shapes and color To have fun making art with peers online, sharing in a sense of creative community To develop an appreciation for animals and their natural habitats
Drawing Pencil/pencils Eraser Pencil Sharpener Ink pen (Micron or very thin marker- must be waterproof! Ballpoint pens can work as well) Watercolor or Mixed Media paper (8X10 or your desired size). Printer paper or standard notebook paper will not be sturdy enough to absorb watercolors without ripping and smearing. Set of Watercolor paints Paint brushes – 1 medium, I thin Mixing palette (a simple paper or plastic plate can work) Rag/paper towel 2 cups of water (one for cleaning the brushes, one for painting) Painter's tape and a drawing board/piece of cardboard (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
