Description

Class Experience

Join us with a willingness to create and a love for animals! You don't need to have any previous experience.

I will start the class off with introductions and the begin guiding the class through a step-by-step pencil drawing of a Kookaburra. Then we will add some ink to our line work and finish our illustrations with watercolor. While this class is structured so that I'm providing step-by-step instructions for learners to re-create one of my drawings, I also make space for the artists to...

To practice drawing different animal forms focusing on shapes and color
To have fun making art with peers online, sharing in a sense of creative community
To develop an appreciation for animals and their natural habitats

Drawing Pencil/pencils
Eraser
Pencil Sharpener 
Ink pen (Micron or very thin marker)
Watercolor or Mixed Media paper(Your desired size- 8X10, 11x14) 
Set of Watercolor paints 
Paint brushes – I thick, 1  medium, I thin 
Mixing palette
Rag/paper towel
Cup of water

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
