In this one time class students will learn how to draw a monarch butterfly using chalk pastels. Students will learn the shapes hidden in the butterfly wings and how to blend their chalk pastels.

Class Experience

Students will learn how to use chalk pastels to color and fill in a detailed monarch butterfly. Students will use the chalk pastels to cover wide spaces and how outline and add details. Students will learn how to blend their work with paper towels and fingers. Students will learn how to draw details on top of their earlier work and how different color chalk pastels react differently than other ones.
