Class Experience

Students will learn how to use chalk pastels to color and fill in a detailed monarch butterfly. Students will use the chalk pastels to cover wide spaces and how outline and add details. Students will learn how to blend their work with paper towels and fingers. Students will learn how to draw details on top of their earlier work and how different color chalk pastels react differently than other ones. Students will make the same picture but will add their own small details. At the end of the class students will be able to share their work. Students do not need any prior knowledge for this class.
