Class Experience
*This class is available upon request - please message me for more information* In this one-time private drawing class we will focus on learning a drawing technique that most interests your young artist. Topics can range from different classic styles such as portrait, landscape, still life, or, a piece based on the subject of your student's choice such as animal drawings, all done in an environment that will allow the artists to receive 1-on-1 attention catered specifically to their learning needs. This taster private lesson is geared specifically for students who love to draw and are looking to learn from not only a studio trained artist, but a teacher who has years of experience working with children from ages 4 to 15, including those with unique learning styles and/or physical/intellectual disabilities. We can cover topics from understanding the basic structure of a face, to drawing caricatures; drawing natural landscapes or using perspective to draw cityscapes; or we can focus on the importance of light and shadow in a still life, and practice drawing different textures. The possibilities are endless! Here is a breakdown of what to expect in each lesson: - Greeting - Introduction to the art technique and assignment - Time to demonstrate, create - Closing/ Goodbye
