50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this weekly on-going class, students will be given the opportunity to create amazing masterpeices based on a specific theme of the week such as landscapes, animals, plants or even abstract designs and much more! We'll begin class with friendly introductions along with brief show and tells of any latest masterpieces learners have created. We'll then dive right into our project of the week using any desired painting medium such as watercolors, acrylic paint, gouache, or anything you prefer. Students will learn various tips and tricks to help them improve their painting skills as well as make new art friends along the way! Students should have all art supplies ready before starting class such as paints, napkins, towels, water glasses, brushes and anything else needed for the week's project. A list of suggested supplies will be provided each week should we be creating something that may need more specific items such as Q-tips, cotton balls, sponges, etc... As you all my know by now, art can get pretty messy. Be sure to wear clothing that you are okay with getting dirty with paint. Be sure to be signed up for classroom alerts to stay informed of any changes in schedule or reminders of certain art supplies we will need for upcoming classes. Here is our current schedule of painting subjects we will be doing for the upcoming week: - Friday, May 5th - Gems, Crystals and Stones - Friday, May 12th - To be determined by a Wheel of Themes spun during class. Our class recording will be available for all students shortly after class should they wish to go through the steps of our weekly painting again or if they missed classed. Knowledge of prior week painting lessons won't be necessary since we will cover a brand new project each week. Students are free to come and go as they please without getting lost. Weekly private lessons following this same class format are available upon request as well as Birthday parties. Please contact me directly for further details such as pricing and scheduling.
