Class Experience

Students who are often seeking art inspiration and enjoy designing characters will love where their imaginations take them in this club.

Students will challenge themselves to create new characters each week. We will all start with the same topic or theme. By rolling dice, students will select fun characteristics individually. These characteristics will be presented on a slide through zoom under several categories relating to the theme. Categories may include things like appearances, clothing, sidekicks, back stories and so on. We will then draw characters, adding our selections to our drawings. At the end of class, students will be encouraged to share their final results, as every character will be different. The theme and characteristics will change every week. This is a laid back club where students will enjoy bouncing ideas off each other and chatting while we draw.

Students will get the chance to request a theme and characteristics they’d like to roll for the next meeting at the end of each class.
