Join Nicole on this fun learning to draw and shade in this 4 day class! Nicole will teach this fun class live in her studio. Students will create sketches using Mr. Mannequinn to practice drawing movement and using the basic shapes of art to build a subject moving. We will build in to adding clothing/ details and shading our sketches. It would be best to having sketching paper but regular paper will do. Day 1: Talk about the Basic Shapes of Drawing and our artist pencils- Sketch of Mr. Mannequinn walking Day 2: Sketch Mr. Mannequinn , how to erase shape lines to give him a real life look, and add on some clothes with details Day 3: Sketch Mr. Mannequinn dancing, add some clothes, talk about and try out shading Day 4: Sketch Mr. Mannequinn jumping, add clothes. details, shading We will do a quick check of the supplies and then start the drawing process step by step working on drawing the basic shapes, then we will progress into building Mr. Mannequinn on paper with the shapes, last we will work on details and the shading. This drawing class will be a lot of fun where we will discover how to draw and shade using a graphite set of pencils. We will add the finishing touches and at the end of the process we will have a better understanding of drawing motion.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of drawing with a set of graphite pencils. Students will improve their shading skills. Students will improve their ability to connect the basic shapes of art to build a subject in motion.

Supply List
-Drawing Set of Pencils (Can be found at a craft store for anywhere between $10-$20) -Sketching Paper or Printer Paper will do -Artist eraser (sometimes this is included in a set of pencils) -Blending Stick (sometimes this is included in a set of pencils)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
