We will explore the world of Romero's Britto's colorful and positive artwork and then create our own enchanted flower garden!
Class experience
Students will learn how to create an enchanted flower garden in the style of world renowned Pop Artist, Romero Britto. We will look at and discuss a few of his art pieces with the emphasis he placed on bold lines, patterns, and vibrant colors. With instruction, students will divide their paper into the foreground and background to create depth in the image. Teacher will then do a step-by-step guided drawing while encouraging the children to use their own enchanted designs for the flowers...
*8 X 10 White Construction Paper (Cardboard may also be used.) *Pencil *Eraser *Ruler *A Variety of Colorful Markers *Black Sharpie (If a sharpie isn't available, any black marker will do.)
