Calling out all Minecraft gamers! Are you ready to learn how to draw Minecraft Steve, Alex, and Creeper all while chatting with other gamers like you and answering trivia questions ? Spread the word and join me in class! In this, one-day course your young artist will learn how to draw characters from the game Minecraft by following directed step-by-step instruction from me. Students will have the support of visuals, verbal, and guided modeling to better accommodate their needs. After creating each drawing, students will have the time to color, and add on to, their pictures and then share with the rest of the group. While drawing, students will be able to engage in conversations about the game and share their interests and experiences with others who enjoy the game as much as them. I am so excited to see their love for the game in art form!
Learning Goals
Students will create an art piece based on a game they enjoy. They will draw each character and use what they know about the game to add details afterwords.Other Details

1. Drawing Paper 2. A pencil (an additional one as backup) 3. An eraser 4. Crayons , color pencils or markers.

Hello Parents and Students!
My name is Teacher Ileana. Welcome to My Outschool Teaching Space.
Back in 2020, I led many art classes and social clubs aimed towards building unity and community in the Outschool world. As of recent, I am now more focused on academic classes geared toward working with students to build confident readers and writers.
I have been an educator in the Department of Education for more than 8 years. However, I have been working with the youth (aged 3-18 years old) for more than 10 years. I have been an educational assistant, after-school and summer counselor, teacher's assistant, online ENL teacher and now a certified K-12 TESOL certified educator.
I tutor students in reading, math and writing online through other platforms as well.
I work hard to build positive relationships with students. In every class I focus on being personable, allowing opportunities for all students to be their authentic self and build their confidence.
In my class, students feel comfortable coming as they are, learning something new and leaving with a sense of confidence they should always strive for.
