In this one-time class we will draw a realistic style Owl using a reference photo. We will warm up with drawing techniques that used to create the Owl. Drawing is the foundation of most art, come draw with me and grow in this skill.

Class Experience

    This class is perfect for artists that are already drawing but are looking to learn more skills in realistic drawing. Great for beginners as long as they have a desire to draw.  All levels will learn something and add to their artistic skills. 
In this owl drawing we will:
   *   Drawing and shading warm ups
   *   learn to sketch lightly   
   *   start the drawing by sketching basic  
        shapes
   *   shade in dark areas to create value
   *   learn to see details
   *   add...

This class is taught in English.

  3 files available upon enrollment*a set of graphite pencils ( specifically HB, 2B and 6B)
*sketchbook or 2 sheets of paper*
*eraser
*Ruler
*A nice clean quiet space to work
*The picture of the owl (the link will be shared on the classroom page)
*pdf  (pdf will be shared on the classroom page)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
