Using simple materials and step-by-step instructions artists will create this seasonal sensation of a of an adorable chibi turkey that lets each learner's style shine. With this type of structured painting instruction, you set your child up for success! Friends and family will be amazed at what is created and learners will feel very confident! We will start by sketching, then finalize our lines with permanent marker. This is where everyone will get to uniquely choose their own colors for that backdrop of this piece including turkey feathers and if they want a pilgrim hat or not. Artists will use crayons to create highlight feather lines and face details. This will create mixed media watercolor resist! This class is perfect for those who love art and want to develop their simple drawing skills. At the end of class learners will have the option to share their masterpiece in a safe supportive space.

As an award-winning art teacher, I feel like I've discovered some important key elements in teaching art to young learners. The most valuable thing to me is to teach confidence and also for growth and I feel like each art piece that I teach does that. At the end of class, it is my hope that each learner feels successful and very confident in their skills.
