No prior experience with drawing required; All drawings are simplified for young artists (each artists can add their own flair to their art as we go along) Calling out all young artists! Are you ready to learn how to draw 10 different animals ( mystical, wild animals , sea animals and even pets?!) Spread the word and join me in class! Day 1: Turtle, Penguin and Flamingo. Day 2: Unicorn and Owl Day 3: Panda, Elephant and Arctic Fox Day 4: Cat and Husky In this, four-day, course your young artist will learn how to draw 10 different animals ( 3-4 animals per day) by following directed step-by-step instruction from me. Students will have the support of visuals, verbal, written instruction, and guided modeling to better accommodate their needs. After creating each drawing, students will have the time to color, and add on to, their pictures and then share with the rest of the group. I am so excited to see what they all can come up with!
Learning Goals
Students will continue to build their artistic abilities by following step-by-step instruction. They will learn how to press lightly on the paper when they begin to draw and add shading/details along the way.

My name is Teacher Ileana. Welcome to My Outschool Teaching Space.
Back in 2020, I led many art classes and social clubs aimed towards building unity and community in the Outschool world. As of recent, I am now more focused on academic classes geared toward working with students to build confident readers and writers.
I have been an educator in the Department of Education for more than 8 years. However, I have been working with the youth (aged 3-18 years old) for more than 10 years. I have been an educational assistant, after-school and summer counselor, teacher's assistant, online ENL teacher and now a certified K-12 TESOL certified educator.
I tutor students in reading, math and writing online through other platforms as well.
I work hard to build positive relationships with students. In every class I focus on being personable, allowing opportunities for all students to be their authentic self and build their confidence.
In my class, students feel comfortable coming as they are, learning something new and leaving with a sense of confidence they should always strive for.
