If painting is not your thing markers, colored pencils or digital are welcome! You do not have to be an artist to take this class. You just need to love to create. Specifics we will learn: Contouring Shading Improve drawing skills Colors How to choose pencil types and hardness. How to choose paper and art mediums. How to use your paintbrushes How to choose and mix watercolor paint. Create character and form using texture and shading. Learning perspective views. I encourage artists to ask me any art questions!!!

Watercolor Painting Class Supplies: See the colors in the class pictures that we will use. - Required Paper - "watercolor paper" 9 x 12 (Note this is special paper. Regular paper will tear and a canvas will not absorb) - Pencil and eraser - 2 qty - Jars of water - Paper towels or napkins - Paintbrushes - Round or flat tip - Paint tray for watercolor mixing - Paint - watercolor paints- Black, white, green *Note that you will need to purchase a special paper labeled specifically as "Watercolor Paper" and "Watercolor Paints".
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
