Class experience
THERE ARE NO LIVE MEETINGS FOR THIS COURSE. Every week, the students will learn independently from original pre-recorded drawing demonstrations, additional drawing challenges, discussion boards to post their pictures and comment on each other's work, and a gallery for their friends and family to view their work throughout this class. During this course, learners will build on their knowledge of the classical, basic elements of art by practicing their new skills and creating artworks....
- Students will learn how to use new drawing techniques to draw complex vehicles. - Students will be able to discuss their wins and challenges with the projects. - Student will use previously learned drawing techniques on more advanced drawings. - Students will learn how to talk about and comment on each other's art through positive and encouraging critiques.
I have a Master’s Degree in Teaching for Art Education (K-12) and have been teaching art publicly and privately for over 10 years. I am also a huge Star Wars fan and have been since I was very young.
- A variety of writing/drawing utensils both black and white and color (options can be pens, pencils, crayons, markers, charcoal, chalk, etc.) - Paper (A sketchbook is recommended. If you do not have a sketchbook to record your drawing progressively, then a folder to keep the loose-leaf pages is also perfectly fine.) - Scanner or device to take pictures to upload to the discussion boards.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
