Draw, Paint, and Explore One Art Style and Medium at a Time | Ages 9-12

Want to draw like a comic book artist? A manga illustrator? An impressionistic painter? In this class, we’ll explore all kinds of styles and materials to level up your art!

As a professional artist who specialized in old master drawing and painting methods, my GOAL is for curious learners to learn more about art's techniques, materials, and styles to develop confidence and well-rounded skills. 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

- Each class will be a different topic such as animals, landscapes, characters, etc.
- Each class will be based on a different style or art movement (in no particular order): Realism, Cartoon, Anime, Impressionism, Pointillism, Cubism, Comics, and More
- We will cycle through these materials: Watercolor, Colored Pencils, Markers, Pen/Ink, Charcoal, Pencil
- Learners will learn different techniques from pencil shading to color theory. 

CLASS MANAGEMENT:

- Learners follow along as I create, but are encouraged to experiment to make the art their own
- I will be checking in with learners throughout the class.
- Learners don't need to share their artwork if they feel shy.
