🌈✨ 🐴 Do you love horses? Then this class is for you!! 🐴 ✨🌈 Come join the fun and learn how to paint a magical horse silhouette with watercolour. No experience necessary! ✏️ For the first part of class we will learn how to draw a running horse with pencil and cover things like horse anatomy and proportion. We will then get creative with watercolour and add all of the colours to our horses. 🎨 Creativity is encouraged and you can paint whatever colour scheme you like! We will learn things like painting wet-in-wet, colour mixing, keeping colours bright, and splattering paint. We will also learn fun facts about horses along the way! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the class. It will be a warm and inclusive environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Supply List
Supply List: pencil, eraser, watercolour paint, watercolour paper (approximately 9” x 12”), a medium-sized paintbrush, a small detail brush, a water jar, and tissues/paper towel.

🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour.
🌈✨ I always strive to teach fun and engaging classes while creating an inclusive environment that puts learners at ease. I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
