Class experience
This is a fun class that's just a little bit spooky-- perfect for kids who love Halloween, ghosts, and the artist Vincent van Gogh! We'll look at the artist's most famous painting, "Starry Night," and add a spooky tree, swirling ghosts, and either a graveyard or pumpkin patch to our scary scene. We'll make our drawings step-by-step together, but learners are welcome to add or change any parts they'd like! After we draw, we'll outline in marker, then add color! Feel free to use...
I've been teaching art to kids of all ages for a couple of decades! My classes cover everything from realistic drawing to painting, pastels, figures, animals, art history, and more. This class is similar to my Masterpiece series; seasonal projects are a great chance to make something fun and lighthearted. I'd love to meet your learner!
Required supplies: - Drawing paper - Pencil & eraser - Black (permanent) marker - Something to color with! (I'll be using watercolor paints) Optional supplies: - Watercolor or acrylic paint, OR - Markers, OR - Crayons, OR - Whatever you like to color with!
This will not be a scary class, but if time allows, I might tell some slightly spooky stories!
