In this class we will define geometric shapes and identify them. I will share my Mr. Potato Head toy with students. We will discuss how different parts of his body and accessories can by drawn using geometric shapes. We will work together, beginning with just the potato body, and draw Mr. Potato Head wearing a fun party hat. We will outline our drawing with a black marker and add color to our drawings as time allows. Students will gain knowledge of geometric shapes, improve their drawing skills, and learn to look at things they want to draw in terms of simple shapes.

Supply List
-paper, pencil and eraser -black sharpie or black colored pencil or crayon -crayons, markers, or colored pencils for adding color --if students have their own Mr Potato Head and would like to have it during the class that would be great

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
