Class Experience

In this one-time course, students will draw Looney Tunes style cartoon characters while learning basic art tips for drawing in a cartoon style.

Students will learn:
- Basic shape drawing, perspective, proportion
- Tips for drawing comic/cartoon like facial expressions
- Tips for drawing in a basic cartoon style

Students can follow the drawing instruction step-by-step in my classes but are also encouraged to be creative and try things as well. Throughout class we will talk about the art in...

Students will improve their drawing of cartoon characters through basic shape drawing, as well as learn techniques for drawing accurate proportions, perspective, and expressions.

- Colored Pencils - For the Best Shading I HIGHLY Recommend Prismacolor Colored Pencils
- Sketchbook Paper or Similar
- Eraser
- Pencil Sharpener
- OPTIONAL: Black Sharpie Marker

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
