Students will learn the basics of scientific observation, how to draw accurately observed physical characteristics along with various pencil and pen techniques. Students will demonstrate their knowledge and skills by creating a portfolio of at least 3 scientific illustrations.
Dr. Basham has for the past five years worked with scientific institutions in 3D digitization and photogrammetry techniques of natural history specimens and has served as a scientific illustrator for various paleo archaeological projects.
