In this one-time class, we will draw different facial expressions and a cute girl character, Kawaii style! In the beginning of our class, we will draw 6 faces. You may print out the template provided in our classroom after you sign up for the class, or draw your own circles during the class. Then, we'll move on to drawing a cute Kawaii girl character. The students may follow my instructions and draw the same outfit or be creative and draw whatever outfit and hairstyle they want on their girl drawing. I will be drawing on a drawing tablet and sharing my screen with the learners to guide them step-by-step. Learners will need sketch paper or plain printing paper, pencil, and eraser. Please, note that we will be coloring during class only if there is extra time left at the end. Students are encouraged to share their drawings during class and/or post a picture of their finished work on our classroom page. Looking forward to drawing with you!

Hello! I'm Sophia Stafford and I'm excited to share my passion for drawing with your learners!
I teach a variety of drawing classes here on Outschool since March 2020.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Math and an MBA in Marketing. I have lectured undergraduate level Business classes and have tutored students of all ages in Math. Also, I have extensive training and experience in drawing both in traditional and digital media. My professional experience includes graphic and web design, and creating digital marketing materials.
My passion has always been drawing and creative arts. I enjoy helping students learn new things and boost their self-confidence through art. It's very fulfilling when I see my students improving their skills and feeling proud of their accomplishments.
