Draw Every Day, Grow Every Day—Your Ideas Lead the Way! In this daily 30-minute club, artists build confidence, skills, and imagination through fun, step-by-step drawings based entirely on their own requests. Whether your learner draws every day or is just starting out, this class helps turn “I can’t” into “Look what I made!” Each session begins with friendly hellos and The Crayon Speech for new learners—then we dive into that day’s drawing request. From mash-up animals and playful robots to magical snacks and rainbow hairdos, anything is possible in this creativity-powered club. Each student is welcome to submit one drawing request per class, which I’ll add to the list for future sessions. Can’t attend every day? No problem! Your request will be saved, and class recordings are always available in your Outschool classroom so learners can catch up or draw along later. ⸻ What We Do in Every Class: ✅ Draw Something New – Every day features a fresh drawing, inspired by learner requests ✅ Step-by-Step Guidance – I model each step while leaving space for student style ✅ Celebrate Creativity – Students can share their art and receive kind, personalized feedback ✅ Encourage Expression – Mistakes are seen as imagination trying to speak up! ✅ Build Real Connection – Many learners become friends, returning week after week ⸻ How Class Is Structured: • 2–3 mins: Welcome & warm-up • 15–20 mins: Guided sketch layer (based on the day’s request) • 5–10 mins: Optional sharing, supportive feedback, and new requests while drawings are colored and outlined Every drawing is student-led, but always scaffolded for success. Each class runs at least 30 minutes, and I try my best to stop drawing by 40! ⸻ My Teaching Style: I bring playful, high-energy guidance with a heart for creative confidence. As The Crayon King, I turn scribbles into stories and mistakes into masterpieces. I use visual modeling, expressive gestures, and storytelling to keep learners engaged—no matter their age or language level. No prior experience needed—just imagination! This class is perfect for visual learners, introverts, out-of-the-box thinkers, and anyone who wants to grow their drawing habit in a fun, friendly space. ⸻ Learners from around the world are welcome! This class is accessible to English language beginners (A1 level). I use visual instruction, simple language, and clear modeling to ensure everyone can follow along. No strong English skills needed—just a love for drawing and trying new things! ⸻ Want to bring your wildest ideas to life? Grab a crayon (or pencil, marker, whatever!) and let’s draw something amazing—together.
Learning Goals
Build creative confidence by exploring new drawing ideas daily. Students will learn to express themselves visually, follow step-by-step drawing sequences, embrace mistakes as part of the process, and grow their unique artistic style over time.
Develop essential drawing skills like line work, shape construction, shading, and perspective—while exploring how these techniques can bring creative ideas to life through fun, approachable daily practice.
Other Details
Learning Needs
While not designed for specific learning needs, this class offers a welcoming, patient space where all artists are supported—including those with diverse learning styles and creative strengths.
Parental Guidance
This drawing class is designed to be a fun and supportive space for learners to express themselves creatively. Students are invited to suggest drawing topics, but I do not draw anything violent, scary, or gory—including weapons, blood, or clowns.
For Halloween-themed sessions, we may draw cute, friendly monsters that are age-appropriate and designed to spark creativity in a festive, non-frightening way.
Parents are welcome to assist younger or less experienced learners—especially to help with materials or to keep pace with the drawing steps—but no adult participation is required.
This class promotes creativity, confidence, and personal expression while maintaining a positive, age-appropriate atmosphere for all learners.
Pre-Requisites
No drawing experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try! This club is open to all creative minds, whether you’re just starting out or already love to draw.
Supply List
Paper: Any paper will work! Printer paper (8.5” x 11”) or a sketchbook is great for drawing and practicing. Please have around 10 sheets ready for each session (we might not use them all). Drawing Tools: Crayons, colored pencils, markers, pens—whatever your artist enjoys using! Pencils are also fine, but thin lines may be harder for me to see on camera. Optional: Learners may want to keep a personal sketchbook to collect their drawings over time, but this is not required. No special materials needed—just something to draw with, something to draw on, and a little imagination!
