Description

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw Dolores from the movie Encanto, as well as learning tips on drawing basic human anatomy, coloring, shading and hair. This lesson will focus on the following art skills and elements:
- Portrait drawing skills in a cartoon style
- Basic shaping for the human form
- There will be extensive time on coloring, shading, and subtle details like how to best draw different types of hair and provide value and dimension to a drawing.

Students will improve their drawing of the human form through basic shape drawing, as well as learn techniques for improved shading while coloring and techniques for different hair styles, expressions, etc.

Sometimes if students do not finish their art piece in class they can finish it after class at home and are encouraged to bring it to another class section anytime!

- Colored Pencils - For the Best Shading I HIGHLY Recommend Prismacolor Colored Pencils
- Sketchbook Paper or Similar
- Eraser
- Pencil Sharpener
