Let's draw super cute zoo animals! During this four week class we will draw a giraffe, zebra, monkey, elephant, lion, flamingo, bear and panda. I will demonstrate step by step how to draw two animals each class. While we are drawing, students will learn fun facts about each animal. Students will be encouraged to personalize their animal by adding features, changing the background and adding color. Students will be encouraged to share their art work at the end of class (but they don't have to). Class Outline: - Introduce each student and ask them an ice breaker question (ie what is your favorite animal?) - Review the class rules (work quietly, have fun) - For each animal (two per class) I will demonstrate and guide the students with step by step drawing directions. I check in with each student to make sure they are ready to proceed - While we are drawing, I will engage and interact the students with fun facts about the animal. - Encourage each student to share their art work. This is perfect for beginning artists! Come and join me in this fun, engaging, art club!

Hello! My name is Patti Barber and I have been an art teacher in Marlton, New Jersey since 2004 and an English as a Second Language teacher since 2017. I love teaching over the internet and I look forward to connecting with my students across the globe each day. I make learning English fun while still correcting pronunciation. I am encouraging and patient with my ESL learners so they will feel confident to speak. I enjoy reading (weekly trips to the public library is a must in my house), traveling with my family (our current quest is to see all 50 states - currently visited 28/50) and sharing my love of history with my kids (touring historical houses is a must on all our trips).
