Class Experience

Students will learn how to draw cute woodland creatures (Kawaii style) 
The topics will be Winter Woodland Animals 
I will draw on my iPad and share my screen to my desktop so the students can see the tutorial step by step on the screen 
At the end of the class, students will get to show the drawings to each other. The mic should be muted during the class but if they have a question they can unmute and ask. At the beginning, we will have a discussion of what we want to draw or what our favorite woodland animal is. At the end, we will be able to color or pictures and have time to talk to each other about our process! Students are not required to talk if they just want to draw and listen to my instructions.

Learning Goals

In this class, students will have fun learning how to draw cute winter wonderland creatures, Kawaii style. I will guide the learners step-by-step with easy to follow instructions. I will be drawing on a drawing tablet and students will be watching the steps on their screen. Students need only paper, pencil, crayons/markers and an eraser. 
This class is focusing on creative techniques. The pace of the class depends on the experience level and speed of the students in each class. Learners have the freedom to add their own creative touch to their woodland creatures. At the end of the class, students may share their sketches and show them on camera.

Hello my name is Miss Ashton and I teach dance and art classes! 
I graduated with my bachelors in dance from Texas Woman's University and my Masters in dance as well! I am currently pursuing my Montessori degree to teach students with learning differences in a classroom setting. I have been dancing for twenty-three years and loves to teach children. I teach because I love seeing a student grow within a classroom. I love when my students enhance their strategies through learning new ideas everyday.
