In this one time class, learners will work on their fine motor skills with oral and visual step-by-step instructions to cut and paste a bear art project.

Class Experience

This class will be offered in a "work with me" format. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example. I will show and name the supplies needed to create the work. I will give a step-by-step demonstration of the artwork and students will create their work with me. We will discuss colors, shapes, and characteristics of the animal. Students will be encouraged toward the end of the class to add their own final touches to their work. I will also suggest students write their...

Learners will practice their fine motor skills, learn how to use art supplies, name colors & shapes, and enjoy creating art.

  5 files available upon enrollmentConstruction paper - 2 sheets of yellow or chose your color for the bear, 1 sheet of orange or chose your color for the bear's muzzle
Colored pencils or crayons
Glue stick
Safety scissors
Stencils for the bear will be provided in the classroom before class. A coloring sheet will be provided for all students as an alternative to cutting or just for additional fun.

Adult assistance or supervision is needed for safety scissors especially if a student has no previous experience.
