This class is for aspiring artists who would love to acquire the basic skills to draw a generic human face that they can then further practice, refine and make their own with their artistic style drawing the features, various hairstyles, accessories, etc.  The possibilities are endless.

Overall, participating in this class, students will have improved their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, enhanced focus, visual and spatial relationship skills and feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.  

Creating original art will build confidence, nurtures innate creativity, meta-cognitive capacity and boosts right-brain activity, thus enhancing academic performance.  All wonderful outcomes from a simple series of art classes with me.  Beginners welcome!

I am offering this class because I love art making, it brings me much joy.  I love creating something beautiful that didn’t exist ever before!  I have been making art since I was three-years old and grew up in a home environment where creativity was a way of life.  I have been teaching art for over 15 years.

I’ve always been creative and interested in colors, textures, textiles, fashion design and traveling the globe appreciating diverse cultures.  I am inspired by nature, the cosmos and color most of all!  To me, making art, expressing myself creatively and teaching others to do that, are as natural as breathing.  Kids of all ages love my inspired, relaxed and energetic style of teaching art.  I have been teaching art in formal settings for over 15 years.
