Course Description Students will explore exciting art concepts through fun, guided drawing lessons. Each class features interactive live demonstrations, storytelling, and humor to keep learners engaged. Students can ask questions, share their work, and add creative touches to each project. Weekly Topics: Week of 1/22: Mighty Machines – Create drawings of powerful vehicles using geometric shapes. Week of 1/29: Landscapes in Perspective – Learn how to show depth in your artwork using techniques like overlap, size contrast, horizon lines, and atmospheric perspective. Week of 2/5 : Dragons from Around the World – Discover how to design dragons inspired by global myths and cultures. Week of 2/12 : Abstract Compositions – Experiment with shapes, lines, and colors inspired by artists Julie Mehretu, Crystal Wagner, and Wassily Kandinsky.
Learning Goals

I bring 15 years of experience as an art educator, with a BFA in Art Education and a Master’s in ESL/ELL. I am fluent in Spanish and have successfully taught all the lessons I offer on Outschool in person.
