Description
Class Experience
n this one-time class, students will learn how to draw a cute cartoon-style owl. Through the step-by-step guided drawing process provided by the teacher, students will use simple lines and shapes and add their choice of details to make a one-of-a-kind drawing! We will outline our drawings with a Sharpie (optional) and paint with watercolors, OR color with colored pencils, crayons or markers! Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished/colored before class ends....
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Students will need: Paper (watercolor or other heavy paper recommended for painting) pencil, eraser, sharpener Sharpie (optional) Choice of the following: watercolor paint, crayons, markers, colored pencils, or any combination
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
