Class Experience
In this fun, one-time class, students will be guided through the process of creating a cup of hot chocolate by drawing a cylinder for a cup, addint a handle, showing an opening at the top for the hot chocolate, and adding details such as marshmallows or whipped cream, decorations on the cup, and a tabletop. Students will have complete freedom to select their own decorations and colors, as well as the media (crayons, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, etc.) with which they...
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Paper (heavy or watercolor paper recommended if wet media is to be used) pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener black Sharpie or similar permanent marker for outlining media of choice for coloring: crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolor pencils, or watercolor paint, or any combination bowl of water and brush for wet media as needed
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
