LIVE Online Art Class: Draw and Paint a Classic Gingerbread House!
In this one-time class, students will discuss and draw a gingerbread house complete with different candies, frosting "snow," and other details of their choice.

In this fun, seasonal-inspired class, students will discuss different types of candies and sweets that might be used in building a gingerbread house, then guided in how to draw a simple house shape. Students will make choices as to how they wish to decorate their drawing (what kinds of sweets and candies they will draw), then outline with a Sharpie, color with colored pencil, and either color or paint the background. Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished/colored before class ends. Students who finish after class has ended are encouraged to photograph and upload their creations into the classroom!

Paper (heavy or watercolor paper is recommended if the student wishes to paint the background or any other part of the drawing) pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener Colored Pencils (crayons or markers are an option as well) Sharpie for outlining drawing Watercolor paint, water bowl and brush (optional for background OR gingerbread house)
