Description
Class Experience
Each week, students will learn all about one or two new dog breeds. Students will view posts with information about each dog breed, including its history, character traits, physical traits, and interesting facts. Students will watch a pre-recorded video with a guided drawing lesson, following the accompanying printable drawing steps. Each drawing will start with a basic pencil outline for the proportions of the dog, then add body and face details, and finish by coloring and adding unique...
Students will improve drawing skills: outline, perspective, proportions, shapes, lines, angles Students will work on coloring and shading skills: highlights, light source, shadows Students will gain knowledge of dog breeds, like interesting and historical facts. Student will gain confidence in drawing skills, conversation with peers, and creativity.
1. Sketch paper (at least 8x10") - (Students may use printer paper, but sketch will provide a better canvas to improve drawing skills.) 2. Pencils - B or 2B preferably 3. Pencil sharpener 4. Eraser - white or kneaded rubber 5. Colored pencil set 6. Teacher's reference pages (sent to students prior to class)
