Class Experience

Learners have fun with Rozine's curriculum which includes seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design. During each session, students draw 2-6 Kawaii-inspired food characters of their choosing. During holidays, seasonal accessories can be added.

This class can be taking multiple times, as each session provides opportunity to draw new foods.

Rozine guides students step-by-step, drawing geometric shapes with pencil until the basic shape of the character is established. Through erasing and adjusting, each character's face and body are created. Cute, cartoon details, like tiny mouths and big eyes, are drawn. Each child tells a story through art by choosing their character's facial expressions.

The number of characters drawn depends on the skill level of the class, as well as how many (or how few) distractions there are.

Students thrive in a creative environment where they are encouraged to develop their imagination and artistic expression.
