I'm an artist, photographer, and author from East Texas. I love to connect art with everything else in life—math, science, history, and language arts. I've been homeschooling for 20 years and have taught children's art classes privately and through local afterschool programs. My photography has been internationally published. I have written three books, one on photography and two how to draw books for kids available on Amazon. As a home educator with an eclectic view on teaching methods (including classical education, the trivium, Charlotte Mason, the Socratic Method, unschooling, and child-directed learning), I see the power of making connections in everything we do. Art happens to be my favorite tool to use when guiding students in making connections as well.
