**PRIOR EXPERIENCE drawing anime is strongly recommended (taking my "Draw an Anime Self Portrait" class prior to this is highly encouraged. This class builds on the simple steps I teach in the Anime Self-Portrait class in a fun and creative way. It is important for students to already have experience drawing the face in anime style, so that we can focus on drawing an entire fairy in the time frame of the class without much review. Learners will be guided through the process of drawing a fairy and choosing the style of hair, clothing, wings, accessories, and colors they want to use in their fairy drawing. Simple steps for drawing the human head, torso and arms and legs in different positions will be discussed, as well as how to position and decorate wings. More details can be added, such as woodland animals, flora, trees, etc. if time allows, and at student's discretion.
Learning Goals
Students will apply their prior knowledge/experience with anime drawings to create a drawing of a fairy.Students may choose to draw the fairy without anime facial features.

Supply List
paper pencil, sharpener, eraser sharpie or illustration pen (for outlining) colored pencils (preferred, but other media, such as markers, crayons, gel pens, or iPad with drawing software are fun too!)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
