**PRIOR EXPERIENCE drawing anime is strongly recommended (taking my "Draw an Anime Self Portrait" class prior to this is highly encouraged. This class builds on the simple steps I teach in the Anime Self-Portrait class in a fun and creative way. It is important for students to already have experience drawing the face in anime style, so that we can focus on drawing an entire fairy in the time frame of the class without much review. As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
