Week 1Lesson 1Draw Adorable Easter GnomesIn this fun one-time class, students will learn to draw a classic cartoon Gnome! We will use simple lines and shapes to draw up to three gnomes, using different details, decorations and characteristics that are commonly seen around Easter, and add them to our gnomes.
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Students will need: Paper (drawing paper is great; sketchbook, or even printer paper will work! Pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener Black Sharpie Choice of coloring tools: colored pencils, crayons, watercolor pencils, or markers.
