Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw a cute cartoon-style panda. Through the step-by-step guided drawing process provided by the teacher, students will use simple lines and shapesto build the head, body, and facial features of the panda. We will discuss the Giant Panda's natural habitat in China, and the only food that it eats--bamboo. We will add bamboo in the bakcground, and then outline our drawings with Sharpies and color them. As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
