In this upbeat class, students will learn how to draw a holiday polar bear with step-by-step instructions. This class is great for beginners and will be filled with fun and encouragement. If time allows, we will begin to color our artwork. I like to keep my students unmuted to encourage classroom conversation. Students will have the opportunity to share their drawings. This course includes a winter activity packet. Please arrive on time for this class. See you in the classroom! Teacher Shannon :-)

My name is Teacher Shannon from New York. I am an enthusiastic teacher who provides a warm and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning. I hold a B.S. in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. My experience includes clinical experience in San Francisco, California. I have 15 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings.
This is my first year teaching fun drawing classes for all ages. My classes are a great opportunity for language immersion! Engaging in arts and social interaction can boost confidence and make us feel more engaged and resilient.
Drawing also plays a big role in cognitive development. Drawing helps children to write and think creatively, develop hand-eye coordination, hone analytical skills, and conceptualize ideas. I look forward to helping mold your child into a creative, life-long learner!
