Students will learn how to draw a Minecraft Selfie picture

Class Experience

Students will learn how to draw a Minecraft Selfie Picture by using graph paper and pencil. I will instruct the drawing step by step to get all the features in place and then they will color their portrait with colored pencils or markers
Students are encouraged to ask questions and interact with me anytime they need to
I like to create a fun and casual environment during my classes
No drawing experience necessary

Students will learn how to use graph paper to measure and keep details in proportion when drawing. They will also learn the basics of drawing a portrait as well as a little about symmetry.

No homework, but if they don't finish coloring their selfie portrait, they may do so after the class ends.

1-2 pieces of white graph paper
pencil
eraser
ruler
black marker (like a Sharpie)
colored pencils or markers

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No formal assessment

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
