Calling all mermaid friends! In this one time drawing class, students will draw a cute mermaid cat unicorn! Students will also discover what their mermaid name is. Class Breakdown Introduction Students are welcome to bring any mermaid items they would like to show the class! (T-shirt, doll, seashells) Students will tell the teacher their name and birthday month. Each student will receive their own unique mermaid name. Students will then learn step by step how to draw a mermaid cat unicorn. The teacher will draw the mermaid as well as show steps on Zoom. Students who finish faster can color at their own pace.
Learning Goals
Students will draw a cute mermaid cat unicorn. Students can practice writing their mermaid name!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have an extensive background and passion for teaching youth both online and in person. I have been teaching English for more than 3 years and have taught over 6,000 classes with 3,879 students. The age range of my students vary from 3 to 16 years old. I have also taught in schools as a substitute teacher for 2 years at all levels (2016, 2017) and currently work as a volunteer reading mentor with a local elementary school program. I bring enthusiasm, creativity and passion to all of the students I work with.
My art classes are designed for younger learners between the ages of 4-9 who like unicorns. Each class is designed to not only teach my student a fun drawing but to also work on life skills such as communication, listening and creative play! I bring energy and enthusiasm with every class because as an elective course, you are here to have fun!
In the summer I offer classes for pre-teens in modeling and self publishing. In 2014, I moved to New York City and pursed my love for acting and modeling. I have been a professional actor and model for 7 years, and have worked in commercials, TV/film, runway, print work and live shows! I have been lucky to work with great industry leaders that have allowed me to gain an extensive amount of knowledge and expertise in this field! As a self-published author of three books, I have a great class designed to help students who want to produce their own story.
