In this one-time sketching course, students will learn the basics of drawing a realistic golden retriever puppy portrait.
Class experience
In this one-time drawing course, students will learn the basics of drawing a realistic golden retriever puppy portrait. Students will learn techniques to draw a proportionate golden retriever puppy portrait (head to chest) using pencil. Students will also learn basic shading techniques and techniques for adding fur texture. I will demonstrate each step for students and have students complete that step along with me. Students will learn techniques for drawing a proportionate golden retriever puppy portrait (head to chest). Students will learn techniques for drawing with pencil (e.g., shading, adding contrast, etc.).
I have been drawing animal portraits for nearly ten years. It is what I love to draw most of all!
Homework Offered
Before class, please print out the picture sent of the golden retriever puppy reference photo we will be drawing. This is sent in the welcome email. If your student does not finish their golden retriever puppy portrait in class, I encourage them to finish it outside of class.Assessments Offered
