Description

Class Experience

○ We will begin this exciting lesson by talking about our favorite things to draw, and then go through the steps of drawing a cupcake together.
○ At each step, students will have the opportunity to make their own decisions based on how they want their cupcake to look (topper, flavors, etc.) while using the design elements shape, outline, and color.
○ Students will see how the teacher uses emphasis to make something in the drawing stand out as a focal point, and students will find something in...

○ Students will be able to apply the design elements shape, outline, and color
○ Students will be able to apply the design principle emphasis in a drawing
○ Students will learn one method of rendering a cupcake form

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art, and have seven years of teaching experience.

○ Colored Pencils, Markers, or Crayons

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
