Everyone should bring two books that they are comfortable reading out loud. This class is geared toward students who are confident reading full sentences up to beginner chapter books. I will read a book with dramatic expression. Then each student will have a turn! We will all share feedback on how each student can improve their word recognition, expression, projection and dramatic reading. I will be sharing breathing exercises and performance techniques. We will chat about vocabulary and definitions as needed. At the end of class we will play a few drama games and use our imaginations to create our own characters and a group story!
