This class is taught in English.
Students will work on thinking on their feet and using their imagination to express their ideas (ie. using movement, props, costume, music, etc.). Utilizing the space and resources around them to complete game objectives can encourage students to keep trying and to feel ok when things do not go their way. Theatre sport activities helps develop SEL skills in a fun and playful manner.
I teach drama.
They are welcome to play these games with their friends and families!
The warm up activity will be connected to the last activity, where students will introduce themselves to their classmates creatively. This is done at the start and at the end to see the progress of the student as they would have gathered new ideas from playing the games.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Slideshow of my lesson will be shown through share screen. The slideshow is downloaded as a PDF from the CANVA site :)
